Bathroom Complete

We bought everything to re-do our downstairs bathroom back in March when we got our tax return. Everything has been sitting around and we decided to finally conquer the task. If we didn't have kids it would have been done 4 months ago....

The first picture is of the bathroom when I started sledgehammering the floor. The vanity had already been ripped out at that point. The tile and vanity were both 32 years old and just plain old gross. When we took out the old vanity the walls were a complete disaster and needed to be fixed as well. It took about three weeks to complete the project. If we didn't have kids it probably would have taken about three days.

The old shower curtain rod was antique bronzed with plastic shower curtain rings. I moved it upstairs to our bathroom and took the brushed nickel one from our room to downstairs. I would have gone out and purchased a new one, but money is tight so I just swapped it out with ours from upstairs. My mom found this great shower curtain at Walmart for $15.

Here is the new vanity, sink and mirror. It all came together as a set.

Here is the new floor and toilet. I did a little bit of the floor but most of the credit and work goes to Taylor and his dad. We had to lay a subfloor of wonderboard first and then the tile on top of that.

I still need to get a new hand towel to match the shower curtain, plus some new artwork for the walls. I literally want to just hang out in the bathroom and roll around on the floor because I love it so much.
