I finally got some good shots of Makenzie's curly hair. She gets it from Taylor! I think I'm going to have to start google searching "How to style curly hair" so I can help her out when she gets older. :)
Hey Jenn!!! Just read Amy's post and saw that you started your blog! Yea!!!! Thought I'd offer my curly hair advise! Kailee hair is coming in curly just like Hailey's...can't imagine how long it's going to take me to get the girls ready in the morning when they start school! Here's what we do with Hailey's hair: At around age 1 1/2 we started using real shampoo/conditioner (Suave makes great kid/tear free products) And we also don't wash it everyday because it gets really dry. In the morning, we wet it with a spray bottle and then use mousse for curly hair or some type of "leave-in de-frizz creme for curls" And we part it and brush it to the side with a baby brush so the top stays flat (poor thing will never have bangs!) And use a clippy. Now that her hair is longer we add 'Johnson's&Johnson's no more tangles leave in conditioner creme' after we wet it and before the mousse or defrizz creme.
